WORKING CERTIFICATE TITLES

9.1 Working Certificate (WC). (Table of Contents)

9.1.1 The CKC shall permit the use of the letters WC signifying Working Certificate to be used after the name of each dog that has met the requirements for the title as hereinafter provided;

(a) The dog must receive a passing ribbon at a WC test held under these rules; or place or earn a Certificate of Merit in a Junior or higher stake at a CKC approved Retriever Field Trial, and apply in writing giving the details of the placing to the CKC Head Office within 6 months of the trial. The appropriate fee as set by the Board, must accompany all such requests.

(b) The dog must be individually registered in the CKC records or have an Event Registration Number; the registration number or ERN must be shown on the entry form.

9.2 Working Certificate Intermediate (WCI). (Table of Contents)

9.2.1 The CKC shall permit the use of the letters WCI signifying Working Certificate Intermediate to be used after the name of each dog that has met the requirements for the title as hereinafter provided:

(a) The dog must receive a passing ribbon at a WCI test held under these rules; or place in a Junior or higher stake at a CKC approved Retriever Field Trial, and apply in writing giving the details of the placing to the CKC Head Office within 6 months of the trial. The appropriate recording fee as set by the Board, must accompany all such requests.

(b) The dog must be individually registered in the CKC records or have an Event Registration number; the registration number or ERN must be shown on the entry form.

9.3 Working Certificate Excellent (WCX). (Table of Contents)

9.3.1 The CKC shall permit the use of the letters WCX signifying Working Certificate Excellent to be used after the name of each dog that has met the requirements for the title as hereinafter provided:

(a) The dog must receive a passing ribbon at a WCX test held under these rules: or place or earn a Certificate of Merit in a Qualifying or higher stake at a CKC approved Retriever Field Trial, and apply in writing giving the details of the placing to the CKC Head Office within 6 months of the trial. The appropriate recording fee as set by the Board, must accompany all such requests.

(b) The dog must be individually registered in the CKC records or have an Event Registration Number; the registration number or ERN must be shown on the entry form. or ERN must be shown on the entry form.
